The Geneva International Annual Motor Show took place this year between the 7 March – 17 March 2019. The show is a ten day exhibition tailored to the Motorsport / Automotive trade, also open to the general public and hosted at the Palexpo, Geneva.
One of the shows objectives this year was to become more modern and focused on the future without losing the perspective of its nearly 100 years history. It was recorded on the last evening the visitor count was 602,000 one hour before the show was due to close.
Exhibitors this year brought their ‘A game’ having special experiences for attendees which involved them being able to take a drive on a race track simulator. The interest shown in these stands strengthen the shows intension to position the Geneva International Motor Show as an experience trade fair in the future.
Matt Charlton, Head of Business Development commented on the event saying “It was an interesting year at Geneva with a broad range of new and concept vehicles on show. Electric Vehicles, Hyper cars and a combination of the two being high on the agenda for a number of the exhibitors, all of which utilising the benefits of advanced composites in one way or another.”
